Crap! I'm reconciling our bank account at work and I'm off by just 10 measly cents! Now I have to look at ALL of the entries since December 29 (yes, I should've reconciled at least once before this one - whatever!) and find where the hell I'm off.
Gah. Better put some crazy music on.

Dammit. I'm still coughing. Still feeling sick. And snotty.
I've been sick 3 times in a row, every 2 weeks. I don't know if it's the same bug because my symptoms are different each time, except for my achy ears. :(
Didn't even go out all weekend. Met my friends at Minna last Friday after work and had dinner at a West African restaurant in the Mission then went home. Everyone was going to some party at The Shine but I just took off and was home by midnight. And then I just rested the whole weekend, watched movies with Megan, read, hung out with X24, the dogs, etc.
I think I'm gonna take this Friday off since my boss asked me to come in on Monday, which I was planning to take off. I need some ME time.

Already. And it's only 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Hmmmm..... Was supposed to take Monday off as a floating holiday but my boss has asked me to come in. That just blows my plan for a 3-day weekend with da pookamagoo. I have Pooka for this weekend since X24's off to Vegas for the weekend.
All I know is that I want to take off and start the weekend. No solid plans yet besides meeting Tim and others at 111 Minna at around 5pm. There's an event at Shine on Mission after but I'm not sure if I'll head off to see that. My neighbor, John, says he'll meet me at Minna later, too.
Cool. I just want to chill. And maybe hang out at the bookstore all weekend. Or go for a drive somewhere since it's such gorgeous weather.
I don't know why just now but my body is rejecting my smoking again. This happens to me a lot but I was thinking this would happen earlier, but I guess this is it.
It's annoying though, since now my body feels "slow" and not so amped up, e.g. sluggish. And I feel kinda bloated, too. Sick. I was telling a friend I should just take up smoking again but I really don't even feel like it. I smoked a couple of days ago and I wasn't stoked at all, didn't do jack shit for me.
Does this mean I have to take up another vice then??? yah right.

So much to do and things keeps on getting added on. Gah. Doesn't help that I'm sleepy, too. Didn't go out last night. Ended up reading until past midnite.

Can't seem to decide if I should drive into the city and hang out at my usual place at Frankie's or not. Tony sent me a text earlier today to NOT miss the Anti-V-day going on at the Fish Bowl which is right next door. Hmmmm....I feel like I may be going just for the sake of going out. But then again, I might have fun, which I usually do anyway with this crowd.
My boss wanted me to follow up on someone's resume and set up a meeting but when I looked at the bottom to find her number, it was missing ONE digit, the last number, I was assuming since the number looked like this (559) 920-XXX. Yah.
I wanted to get hold of her quickly instead of sending her an email so I decided to call the 10 possible phone numbers, IF the missing digit was really the last. I have no idea where 559 is (my coworker says somewhere in Fresno ???) but I just dialed away. I got a few guys answering in a Spanish accent, a couple of voicemails, and one nice gentleman. And there was this one girl who wanted to know who I was, where I was (!) even though she already said she wasn't the one I was looking for. Huh? Was she that desperate to talk to someone on the phone???
Anyway, I wasn't able to get hold of this person in any of the 10 phone calls I made. She did email me back and wrote in PS that she did get a missed call from me. Haha!

So yah, I guess today is Valentine's Day. What do you know....Got a bunch of "reminders" yesterday that today was THE day but whatever. I'm not really much into Valentine's anyway. Even broke up with a boyfriend once on this day, a few years back, not even slightly aware that THAT day was not really the right day to pick to do that. I've been trying to tell him all these years that he's wrong, it must have been some other day...I mean COME ON! How could I be so clueless to do that?!?!? (Ok - don't answer that) But anyway, he said there's no way he could've made that up himself and imagined the whole thing. Oops. Sorry...I guess??
